This item is not recommended for dishwasher or prolonged soaking, nor for use in microwave ovens.

100% cork. Cork is a remarkable renewable natural resource: Regular harvesting (every 10 to 12 years) of the bark from Cork Oak tree actually contributes to the tree's health. Cork Oak trees continue to flourish with regular harvesting.
